I'm Sara
I'm so glad you're here!
We all know that life’s a journey full of twists, turns, and the occasional unexpected detour - sometimes we’re coasting in the sunshine with the roof down, others buckling up in stormy weather. Like most of us, I’ve had my share of ups and downs too. And I get what it’s like to feel stuck.
I’m incredibly grateful to have been blessed with a child, partner, friends and animal companions; I’ve travelled and lived in some remarkable places, met wonderful people and learnt much about life, people and society.
I’ve been made redundant, faced uncertainty, and questioned
my own worth. I’ve navigated divorce, single motherhood, cared for aging parents, and faced into personal setbacks. But through it all, I’ve discovered the power of resilience, self-awareness, and confidence.
That’s why I do what I do.
I’m passionate about helping people like you, at any stage of their personal or professional life, to rediscover their confidence, find their voice, own their strengths, and build the self-belief to get back in the driver’s seat.
Throughout my career I’ve worked for some of the biggest global brands such as the BBC, Unilever, Tesco, Pernod Ricard, Marks & Spencer, GSK, Dunhill, and Samsung, as well as lots of smaller PR and media agencies.
Initially my job in Communications was all about storytelling: crafting messages, shaping reputations, and helping businesses communicate with confidence. But what I loved most wasn’t the glitz and glamour (though I did meet the Queen and some fascinating people along the way!); it was the impact on people - their challenges, their ambitions, and the transformations that happened when they believed in themselves.
Over the years, I found myself drawn more and more to the human side of communication – internal communications, mentoring teams, coaching leaders, and supporting individuals through change. So, after more than 30 years in senior leadership roles, I took a leap of faith and became an ICF certified coach. Now, I use my expertise in communication, psychology, and leadership to help people like you uncover their confidence, navigate transitions, and step into their full potential.
When I’m not coaching, you’ll find me writing (my first novel is with a literary agent), travelling, indulging in some interior design or a bit of ‘property porn’ (Love It or List It, Location, Location, Location are my favourite guilty pleasures!) I love cooking, reading, watching rugby and re-runs of Ally McBeal and walking on the most beautiful beach in England, Camber Sands.
But my greatest joys are my wonderful partner Mark, my brilliant son James, and our furry family - two spoilt cats, Percy and Arthur, and our mischievous Irish Terrier, Dougal.
I look forward to talking to you soon!
